COVID-19 Data Tracker Update as of June 8, 2020

As of June 8, 2020, Wisconsin continues to report the lowest percentage of positive COVID-19 tests among the five midwestern states with 6.0% of the tests returning positive.  Illinois and Indiana have the highest percentage of positive cases in the Midwest, tied at 12.3%  Wisconsin’s percentage of positive tests is below the median for all states, and both numbers are steadily decreasing. 

Wisconsin is still seeing a decreasing trend in the percentage of COVID-19 positive patients being hospitalized, as well as the rate of hospitalized patients being admitted to the ICU. The median for all states of the percentage of positive COVID-19 patients continues to decrease.
