IRS Issues Guidance on Leave Donation Programs and COVID-19

The IRS issued Notice 2020-46 permitting employers to make deductible cash payments before January 1, 2021 to charitable organizations providing relief to victims of the COVID-19 pandemic in exchange for sick, vacation or personal leave which their employees forgo.
