Temporary Rules Now Apply to Hiring with the I-9 Form

While many employers have halted hiring activity, others in essential industries are ramping up. Verifying documents proving eligibility to work in the U.S. may be a challenge to do remotely. The Department of Homeland Security has given employers some flexibility in completing I-9s.
