As we prepare for a return to the workplace, employers need to be sensitive to employees with concerns about health issues that make them more vulnerable to COVID-19. This is complicated by both actual health issues an employee may have as identified by health authorities, as well as an employer’s perceptions and fears about an employee’s conditions. Both need to be considered as we navigate reopening our workplaces.
