RYAN WIDMAR

Ryan brings a unique background to his role at Hausmann Group, shaped by both professional athletics and insurance. Prior to entering the insurance industry, Ryan spent 11 seasons playing professional ice hockey in Europe—an experience that instilled adaptability and a strong competitive drive. He has worked in insurance for nearly four years, beginning on the carrier side in claims before transitioning into sales roles. Ryan was drawn to Hausmann Group for its strong culture and defined processes, where he knew he would thrive and continue to grow.

Professionally, Ryan is known for his personality and resilience. He is driven by earning the respect of his clients and prospects and strives to be viewed as a trusted advisor who delivers real value. Ryan is passionate about continuous improvement and lifelong learning, and he takes pride in overcoming challenges, both personally and professionally. His goal is to build lasting relationships and make a meaningful impact on the businesses he serves.

Outside of work, Ryan enjoys playing hockey and spending time with his fiancée and their dog. He is an active volunteer in the ice hockey and food insecurity communities—causes that are especially close to his heart. A geography enthusiast, Ryan has traveled to 36 countries and brings a global perspective to everything he does.

Ryan holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Alabama and is a member of the Rotary Club of Milwaukee and RAMAC (Racine Area Manufacturers).
