Doug brings a strong foundation in personal insurance to his role at Hausmann Group, which he developed during his time at Johnson Financial Group and Risk Strategies. His path to the industry was unconventional—after more than two decades in sports management, Doug transitioned into insurance following a personal experience that revealed a major coverage gap in his own policy. That moment sparked a passion for helping others understand and protect what matters most.

Douglas is known for his ability to listen deeply, educate clients, and simplify complex insurance concepts. He believes in empowering people with the knowledge they need to make informed decisions, especially in areas of their financial lives that are often overlooked. His client-first approach and genuine desire to help others make him a trusted advisor and a valued member of the Hausmann Group team.

Outside of work, Doug enjoys staying active, spending time with his family, and volunteering—most notably as Buddy the Elf at the Variety Club Holiday Event for children with special needs.
