Tales from the Trenches - The Latest Cyber Attacks and How To Avoid Them

David’s goal is to encourage is clients to think about their business (and their risk) in new ways. As technology evolves and is implemented into more facets of life, more businesses are becoming “tech” businesses without even realizing it. His current area of expertise lies in insuring technology risks and data-heavy clients, including software, healthtech, and life science companies. He also is the leader of Hausmann-Johnson Insurance’s Cyber Risk Work Group.

Before becoming a Client Executive, David spent time at Hausmann-Johnson Insurance as a Select Lines Associate, Commercial Lines Associate, and a Commercial Account Manager. Prior job experience in the banking industry instilled in David a high sense of urgency when a problem arises. He knows that until a problem is solved, clients are using valuable downtime that could be better spent running their business.David holds Bachelors of Arts degrees in Theology and Philosophy from Marquette University. He is an avid hiker, reader, and birder. He enjoys sharing his passion for nature with his wife and their dog, who often to join him on hikes in state and national parks. He also is a mentor for the Boys & Girls Club of Dane County.
