As the Benefits Marketing Specialist, you will deliver a wide range of essential functions to support the client experience, working with internal teams, clients & carriers. This dynamic role requires consultative skills, outstanding communication, presentation, and organizational skills.

  • Drive the client marketing process: Using our library of internal tools, this role will review & revise the current process, and build efficiencies across different market segments.
  • Assess & recommend client solutions: Working closely with the account team, the Marketing Specialist will analyze client needs, choose appropriate markets, and present information in an accurate and concise format. The Specialist will maintain electronic files and document service requests through the process.
  • Project management: This individual serves a critical role executing process across multiple account teams. The role will need to constantly evaluate the business & client needs, reprioritizing and a strong focus on deadlines.

Qualifications

  • Hold a valid Wisconsin Health and Life insurance license or obtain one within three months of hire.
  • Experience working in the employee benefits industry.
  • Desire to acquire knowledge of advanced employee benefits topics such as disability and stop loss contracts.
  • Strong oral and written communication, with the willingness to escalate challenges.
  • College degree or relevant work experience.
  • Strong computer skills, including Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, knowledge of other multi-media applications helpful.

Working Conditions

  • Position will be headquartered in the Madison office, regular travel to the Pewaukee office is required. A valid driver’s license is required.
  • Regularly work during our core business hours: Monday through Friday, 8am-4:30pm.
