Sort Out MyHaus – Competition Update

It’s just over a week since we launched our student-tastic #SortOutMyHaus twitter competition in which we offered you, the poor, aesthetically destitute student population the chance to bag £200 worth of MyHaus kit to deck out your new student digs with.

Well, the response has been steady if not overwhelming, with a few of freshers and returning scholars tweeting examples of their sparse student accommodation to @MyHaus using the hashtag #SortOutMyHaus. We’ve had a trickle of entries (students are all in bed nursing freshers week hangovers obviously) but that means there’s still a good chance of you bagging the prize if you get your skates on and enter now.

Here are the best two efforts we’ve had so far:

Debbie from Birmingham looks to be scraping the barrel with her choice of student digs, which by the looks of it, hasn’t been decorated since 1987. We know it’s going to be a job to get that awful wallpaper stripped Debs but just think of all the lovely MyHaus kit you could have to compliment the room’s new look!

Lucy from Bristol is either very, very hungry or has been feeding a gaggle of housemates who’ve been helping get their place into a habitable state. Good to see that they found the time to enter our comp, they obviously want a pizza the action!

That’s what the leaderboard is looking like so far and we’ll be back next week with an update of your pics of shoddy student house. You’ve got three whole weeks to get involved still, so get your Twitter hat on and get tweeting your photos to @MyHaus.
